V26.6.16.1
1. Yard Dashboard
We have introduced a new condensed, matrix-style view of your yard inventory so you can assess capacity and product distribution across the entire facility at a glance.
- Loads & Empties Breakdown: Inventory is grouped into "Loads" (categorized by product type) and "Empties" (categorized by railroad or buffer status), broken down across the Inbound, Rack, Yard, and Outbound zones.
- Track Totals: A dedicated section summarizes the occupancy of every track, with empty tracks clearly highlighted as "CLEAR" to show available space for incoming cars.
- Configurable Zones: Users can define which tracks make up each zone (e.g., Virtual, Yard, Rack) to match how their facility is laid out.
- Permission Controlled: The Yard Dashboard is an assignable permission that can be granted to individual users.
2. Custom Track Types
You are no longer limited to the built-in track types. Users can now create their own track types in addition to the standard set (Inbound, Outbound, Storage, Transload, Maintenance, Bad Order, Separator).
- Assignable Permissions: Creating and editing track types is controlled by new permissions tied to yard layout editing.
- Future Reporting: Custom track types will feed into yard dashboard capabilities, such as distinguishing loaded cars in a "Rack" track from empty cars in a "Virtual" track.
3. Track & Trace Dashboard Tile
A new dashboard tile gives subscribed companies a live summary of cars in transit.
- Status Breakdown: See counts for cars that are Departing, En Route, and Arrived, plus a subset of En Route cars with an ETA under 24 hours.
- Click Through: Selecting a status takes you directly to the matching list of trips.
- Availability: This tile is only offered to companies subscribed to Track and Trace.
4. Contracts
This release adds new tools for tracking contract fulfillment.
- Real-Time Contract Impact: When building a shipment, an "Impact on Contract" summary now appears at the top of the form. It shows the contract's total scheduled and shipped-to-date volumes, the number of cars in the current shipment, and both the current and projected fulfillment percentages, all updating in real time as cars are added or removed. The summary is hidden when a shipment has no associated contract.
- Historical Performance: Individual contracts now include a Historical Performance tab with a destination breakdown of shipped vs. nominated volumes, an overall performance score, the ability to add notes, and a CSV export option.
5. Truck Scheduling: Blackout Windows
Schedulers can now block off periods when bookings should not be accepted.
- Blackout Window Creator: A new blackout window tool is available from the riser settings calendar, letting you define a window in which bookings are restricted.
- Booking Safeguard: If active bookings already exist in the window you are saving, Wheelhouse warns you that saving will cancel those bookings before you proceed.
- Permission Controlled: Creating blackout windows is tied to the riser add/change permissions.
6. Empty Car Billing
You can now bill empty cars as revenue moves (for example, billing empty cars out of storage or sending a bad-order car to the shop). Previously empty cars could not be added to a schedule for revenue billing.
7. Notifications & Permissions
- Nomination Requests: The notification system now surfaces incoming nomination requests, with click-through to the contract or schedule the request came in on.
- TerminalSync Dashboard Permission: Visibility of the TerminalSync dashboard is now an assignable permission.
8. Reports & Report Studio
- Billing Fields: Origin/delivery switch and bill-of-party fields have been added to billing.
- Detention Subfleet Column: Subfleet is now available as a reportable column in the Detention report source.
- Detention Column Clarity: Clarified what the Detention report columns reference to make the report easier for clients to use.
9. Fixes
- Contract Destinations Summary: Fixed totals not displaying in the contract destinations summary.
- Shipment BOL Number: Resolved an issue when changing the BOL number on a shipment.
- Track Export: Railcar notes now appear correctly on track exports.
- Report History: Improved the usefulness of the report history table.
- Aggregate Reports: Fixed aggregate reports that did not always run correctly.
- Detention Reports: Fixed a bug where adding the "Loaded" column could make a Detention report unrunnable.

- Inbound List: Fixed local storage handling for the inbound list.
- Gauge Tables: Improved the reliability of gauge table intake and coverage so more tank cars have an associated gauge table.
