Enhancements and Bugs

Yard Layout: Multiple features

  1. Users can now enable auto-complete mode. This is useful for teams that do not plan moves in advance but instead execute them on the spot while tracking movements.

  2. Users can add cars to the track, and these cars will automatically appear in the Unassigned Cars column. This allows users to easily bulk-enter multiple cars and then assign them to the appropriate tracks. Additionally, the Unassigned Cars column is now integrated with the Track and Trace module and will display cars that are expected to enter the facility.

  3. Navigation: Yard management > Yard Layout.

Inspection Module: Commodity Dropdown

  1. The Commodity field in the inspection form is now a dropdown instead of a write-in field. This ensures that users can only select commodities that already exist within their company profile, reducing manual entry errors.

  2. Navigation: Yard management > Inspections > Edit or Create Inspection Form.

Multiple Modules: Load Times

  1. Various screens within Wheelhouse have been enhanced to reduce load times and show results to users faster.

  2. Updated Screens:

    • Track and Trace > Car History

    • Operations: Shipments > Select Facility > Contract Schedules

    • Operations: Shipments > Select Facility > Empty Templates

Waste Management Module: Multiple Enhancements

  1. New reporting fields are now available, including Contract Battery, Contract Location, and Contract Name. These fields allow users to view updated contract details while reporting on tickets, without altering the contract information at the time of ticket creation.

    • Navigation: Reports > Select Columns: Contract Battery, Contract Location and Contract Name.

  2. Fix: Previously, when the “Oil Truck Delivery” service type was used in transfer tickets, the volumes were not appearing in the Mass Balance Report. This has now been corrected, ensuring that volumes are accurately included in the Transfers section for the selected month or day.

    • Navigation: Waste management > Modules > Tickets > Create Transfer Ticket > Select Oil Truck Delivery Service Type > Check Mass Balance Report

  3. The Date column in the ticket table now functions correctly when filtering. Users will now see only the exact dates they search for, rather than additional unintended results.

    • Navigation: Waste Management > Modules > Tickets > Date Column

  4. The invoice PDF template has been updated to reposition the VantEdge logo at the bottom of the page. This adjustment increases the number of records that can fit on a single page, reducing unnecessary footer space.

  5. The Mass Balance Report now includes a Recalculate button. This allows users to update the report immediately after retroactively entering inventory tickets, rather than waiting for the system’s scheduled updates.
