Highlights

This release focuses on two major areas: Operational Clarity and Platform Usability. We are introducing a completely redesigned navigation structure to help you move faster, a new Contracts MVP to visualize fulfillment health, and deep mechanical insights for your rail fleet via UMLER data integration.

New Features

1. Contracts Dashboard (MVP 1)

We have overhauled the Contracts module to move beyond simple data entry. The new experience focuses on Fulfillment Health, allowing schedulers to instantly see which deals are on track and which are at risk.

  • Health Status Indicators: Contracts are now automatically tagged as On Pace, Ahead, Behind, or At Risk based on the current date and shipped volume.
  • Visual Fulfillment Bars: Quickly visualize the percentage of volume shipped versus the total contract quantity.

2. UMLER Car Equipment Data

We are bringing a "Digital Twin" concept to life. You can now access detailed mechanical specifications for your railcars directly within Wheelhouse, sourced from UMLER data.

  • Mechanical Tab: View critical attributes including coupler types, valve specifications, lining materials, and safety valve settings.
  • Measurements: Access precise load limits, tare weights, and shell capacities without leaving the platform.

3. Report Branding & Customization

Your reports should look like your reports. You can now fully customize the look and feel of PDF and Email outputs generated by Wheelhouse.

  • Logo Upload: Upload your company logo in System Settings > Branding. This logo will replace the default Wheelhouse branding on all external-facing documents.
  • Custom Contact Footer: Define a global default address, phone number, and email for the report footer.
  • Override Capability: Need a specific report to come from a specific desk? You can override contact details on a per-report basis in the Report Studio.

UX & Navigation Improvements

  • Contextual Navigation: We added a breadcrumb trail to the top header (e.g., Shipments > Create Shipment > Add Cars). This allows for one-click navigation back to parent pages without losing your place.
